Raj has worked in the mental health field for nearly two decades. Always interested in learning an individual's story, Raj works from a person-centered approach. He hopes to help others understand how God has woven together their particular tale.

Guided by the clubhouse model's philosophy that recovery thrives on community and relationships, he has strived to support and empower people living with mental illness as a social worker. Raj is also a passionate advocate for suicide prevention and awareness. He earned his master’s degree in Social Work from Hunter College.

Born in the Bronx and raised in Queens, Raj is a native New Yorker. He has been attending Redeemer for several years. While he enjoys taking part in various fun activities, he is also a huge fan of simple conversation, both humorous and deep.
