Michael Duncanson, LMHC

Counselor

Michael Duncanson is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree at Brooklyn College and a Master of Arts degree at New York University. For many years, he worked as a therapist in New York State psychiatric centers and private mental health agencies. He also worked for Westchester Department of Community Mental Health overseeing and implementing best practices in delivering mental health services. Prior to joining RCS, he was the Senior Director for Family Court Mental Health Services at NYC Health + Hospitals while maintaining a private counseling practice.

Throughout his career, he has received advanced training in CBT, Family Resolutions, and forensic psychology practices. Michael is dedicated to coming alongside individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, men’s issues, spiritual brokenness, and vocational issues. Michael and his wife Gina attend church in Westchester County and are actively engaged in various ministries. He enjoys officiating basketball, traveling, eating good food, singing and keeping in touch with friends and family.
