Kaitlin Cheung, LMHC

Counselor

Kaitlin received her master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Alliance Graduate School of Counseling, and is a trilingual (English, Cantonese, and Mandarin) Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of New York, as well as a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of New Jersey. Kaitlin has experience working with individuals of all ages, and has a particular burden in walking with individuals as they process trauma, grief, life transitions, and other life stressors. Kaitlin is a Certified Brainspotting Therapist, Certified Prepare/Enrich Facilitator, and trained in both Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Gottman Levels 1 and 2 Couples Counseling.

Kaitlin’s counseling career began as a desire to destigmatize mental health in her home church. Having a sibling with autism and epilepsy, she’s experienced the confusion and judgment church members can have towards mental health and disabilities. Kaitlin desires to change the Church’s misconceptions about mental health.

During her free time, Kaitlin enjoys running half marathons with her husband, spending time with her family, reading, hiking, and shelling.
