Kathleen holds a Master of Education in Mental Health Counseling from Fordham University and an undergraduate degree in business from the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia. As a Korean-Australian, Kathleen has a heart for working with individuals from multicultural backgrounds. She has experience working with a broad range of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, family of origin, and acculturation. She also has experience counseling adolescents and young adults at the Mental Health Association of NYC in Queens and the South Bronx. Prior to becoming a counselor, Kathleen worked in the finance industry in Australia and the US for twenty years. She enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as yoga, hiking and traveling.
