Justin, Meyers, MHC-LP

Counselor

As a Mental Health Counselor at Redeemer Counseling, Justin walks alongside individuals seeking healing and wholeness. His primary therapeutic approach is Internal Family Systems (IFS), a compassionate model for understanding the different parts of ourselves. Uniquely, Justin integrates these evidence-based IFS principles with a Biblical perspective, offering clients a space to explore their inner lives and challenges in a way that aligns with their Christian faith. He has particular experience supporting those navigating depression, anxiety, addiction, trauma, relational discord, and neurodivergence, incorporating mindfulness to enhance self-awareness and coping.

Justin believes in creating a safe, non-judgmental environment and is committed to offering multiculturally competent and identity-affirming care. In this space, clients can discover insight, foster self-leadership, and experience lasting change grounded in both psychological understanding and spiritual truth. Justin holds a Master's degree in Counseling from the Townsend Institute at Concordia University Irvine. He currently practices with a Mental Health Counselor Limited Permit (MHC-LP) and is actively working towards full licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York State.
